- Check the installed equipment against the approved drawing.
- Witness the acceptance test performed by the installing contractor.
- Check for proper jockey pump operation.
- The auto run time for the fire pump shall be set at 10 Minutes.
- A roof shot from one standpipe shall be performed.
- Verify that all pertinent information such as on/off pressures, dispatch phone number, and alarm position number are labeled at the pump control box.
- Rest all controls to normal; verify with dispatch that the proper signals where received.
- A copy of the test results shall be forwarded to the Fire Prevention office.
